ABOUT
Lizzie is 5* event rider based in Nottinghamshire. Lizzie studied for an Equine Sports Science degree at Nottingham Trent University, where she then stayed on to complete a Masters degree in Equine Performance alongside building up a business and a team of horses.
Lizzie has been riding since the age of three, initially competing her Shetland pony at the local gymkhanas before moving on to compete at the Trailblazer Championships and registering with British Showjumping. She enjoyed success show jumping her 12.2 and 13.2 ponies, competing at Pony of the Year Show and the Blue Chip Winter Championships.
As Lizzie moved on to 14.2 ponies she began to focus on Eventing and registered with British Eventing at the age of 12. Lizzie went on to successfully compete in the Pony Trials series and at the National Under 16 championships at Brand Hall.
Moving on to horses, Lizzie produced a horse named Quarry Man up to 4* level, along the way representing Great Britain at the Young Rider European Championships in both 2017 & 2018, finishing 9th & 13th individually respectively. They jumped double clear around their first 4* competition at Millstreet and finished 5th in the Advanced at Little Downham in September 2018. Together they won the Advanced U25 class at Belton, and won several international classes together.
Lizzie also helps with the producing and selling of the homebred horses, one of which she has produced up to 5* level. B Exclusive has been incredibly successful, winning the 4*S at Chatsworth in 2023, 6th Bramham 4*L 2023 and 6th Blenheim 4*L 2022. He stepped up to 5* level in 2024. Lizzie now has a growing string of horses coming up through the levels and has enjoyed success on a world stage, finishing 5th at Le Lion D'angers in the 7 year old World Championships in 2024 with Calida Spice.
Lizzie was a member of Nottingham Trent University's Equestrian team and represented them at the BUCS National Championships in 2018, winning both the team and individual competition to become BUCS National Champion. Lizzie went on to represent the GB Student Rider team at a Nations Cup competition in Germany in 2018. Lizzie trains with Tracy Woodhead.
